Aydın’ın Nazilli ilçesi Esenköy Mahallesi’nde makilik alanda henüz belirlenemeyen nedenle yangın çıktı.
Yangına, Aydın, Denizli, Muğla ve İzmir Orman İşletme Müdürlüğüne ait 22 arazöz, 3 ilk müdahale aracı, 13 su tankeri, 5 iş makinesi müdahale etti.
Yangında, 10 teknik personel, 10 memur, 111 yangın söndürme işçisi görev aldı.
Yangın, arazinin sarp kayalık olması dolayısıyla yaklaşık 6 saat süren çalışma sonrası kontrol altına alındı. Soğutma çalışmaları devam eden yangında, ilk belirlemelere göre 12 hektarlık makilik alanın zarar gördüğü öğrenildi.
