Cumhurbaşkanı Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’ın imzasıyla yayımlanan karara göre, Kurban Bayramı tatili nedeniyle 10 Ağustos Cumartesi günü saat 00.00’dan (cuma gününü cumartesi gününe bağlayan gece) başlayarak 15 Ağustos Perşembe saat 07.00’ye kadar “yap-işlet-devret” projeleri hariç olmak üzere Karayolları Genel Müdürlüğü sorumluluğu altında bulunan otoyollar ile 15 Temmuz Şehitler Köprüsü ve Fatih Sultan Mehmet Köprüsü’nden geçişlerde ücret alınmayacak.
Aynı karar kapsamında 11 Ağustos Pazar günü saat 00.00’dan (cumartesi gününü pazar gününe bağlayan gece) başlayarak 14 Ağustos Çarşamba günü saat 24.00’e kadar belediyeler ile bunların kurdukları birlik, müessese ve işletmelerce yürütülen toplu taşıma hizmetleri de ücretsiz olacak.
