Türkiye, Umman Körfezi’nde seyir halindeki iki tankere yapılan saldırıyı kınadı.
Dışişleri Bakanlığından yapılan yazılı açıklamada, “Umman Körfezi’nde iki petrol tankerine yapılan saldırıyı kınıyoruz. Son bir ay içinde Körfez bölgesinde ticari gemilerin ikinci defa hedef alınmasından endişe duyuyoruz” ifadeleri kullanıldı.
Açıklamada, Türkiye’nin “uluslararası deniz yolu taşımacılığı bakımından stratejik konumda bulunan Körfez bölgesinde, seyrüsefer güvenliğinin muhafaza edilmesine önem atfettiği” bildirildi.
